My Lasagna Slow Cooker Recipe

Soo quick and easy – a definite family favourite.

I usually make my White sauce but I had a Jar that needed to be used ~ It tasted delicious and I don’t think I’ll make the sauce again!

Ingredients (Meat Sauce):

500g Beef Mince (5% Fat)
1 Onion, finely chopped or grated
2-4 Garlic Cloves, chopped or crushed
Pack of Mushrooms, chopped
1 Beef Stock Cube or Stock Pot
400g Chopped Tomatoes
80g Tomato Purée
1 Tbsp Beef Gravy Granules
1 Tsp Mixed Herbs
Pack of Dry Lasagne Sheets

White Sauce Ingredients:
Jar of White Sauce
1-2 Tsp Mustard Powder
Handful of grated Cheese

Method:

1. Mix together all the meat sauce ingredients in a bowl. No need to brown anything.
2. In a separate bowl mix the White Sauce ingredients.
3. Spoon a layer of the meat sauce into the slow cooker followed by a few spoonful of the white sauce. Then place a layer of Lasagna sheets on the top. You’ll need to break some so they fit. Repeat this until you have 4 layers of meat sauce and Pasta. Make sure you save some white sauce for the top.
4. Finish the top with a layer of White Sauce and a sprinkle of Cheese. Pop the lid on (I didn’t use a tea towel but you can if you wish). Cook on Low for 5-6 hours or High for 3-4.

Enjoy
