Ingredients :
- 4 cube steaks1
- cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup milk
- Vegetable oil for frying
- For the gravy:
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 2 cups milk
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions :
- In a shallow dish, mix together the flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- In another dish, whisk together the eggs and milk.
- Dredge each cube steak in the flour mixture, then dip in the egg mixture, and coat again in the flour mixture.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat
- Fry the cube steaks for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and drain on paper towels.T
- o make the gravy, melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Whisk in the flour and cook for 1-2 minutes.G
- radually whisk in the milk, stirring constantly until the gravy thickens.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Serve the chicken fried steak with the gravy on top.
