Quick and Easy Kids’ Meal (Cost: £2.60)

Ingredients:

6-8 hotdogs (or chicken breast as an alternative)
200g pasta
Frozen vegetables (like carrots, peas, or corn) – use what you have
1 tsp olive oil
1 stock cube (optional for extra flavor)
1/2 cup grated cheese (optional)
Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions :

1. Cook the hotdogs/chicken:
– In a pan over medium heat, add a teaspoon of olive oil.
– Cook the hotdogs (or chicken) until golden and cooked through. If using chicken, cut it into small pieces for easier eating.

2. Cook the pasta:
– Boil water in a pot and add the pasta. Cook for 8-10 minutes or until soft.
– Drain the pasta and set it aside.

3. Prepare the vegetables:
– If using frozen vegetables, either boil them for a few minutes or microwave them until soft.

4. Assemble the dish:
– In a large bowl, mix the pasta with the hotdogs (or chicken) and the vegetables.
– Add the stock cube if you want extra flavor, along with some salt and pepper.
