Ingredients :
- 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil, divided
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 yellow bell pepper, sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced
- 1 small onion, sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
- ¼ cup beef broth
- 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
- 2 teaspoons sesame oil
- 3 cups cooked white rice
Instructions :
- In a bowl, toss the sliced beef with soy sauce and cornstarch. Let it marinate for 10 minutes.
- Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the beef and stir-fry for 2–3 minutes until browned. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of vegetable oil. Stir-fry the bell peppers and onion for 4–5 minutes until they are tender-crisp.
- Add the garlic and ginger, cooking for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Return the beef to the skillet and pour in the beef broth and oyster sauce. Stir everything together and cook for 2–3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
- Drizzle sesame oil over the stir-fry and give it a final toss.
- Serve the beef stir-fry hot over a bed of cooked white rice.
