Quick Stellini Supper

Ingredients :

  • 500g Stellini pasta
  • 50g butter
  • 15g flour
  • 500ml milk
  • 100g hard mozzarella cheese, grated
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 700g minced meat
  • 200g tomato sauce
  • Vegetable oil for cooking
  • Salt, dried ground nutmeg, meat seasoning to taste

Instructions :

  1. Cook the Stellini pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the flour and cook for about 1 minute, stirring constantly.
  3. Gradually whisk in the milk, ensuring no lumps form. Continue to cook and stir until the sauce thickens, about 5 minutes.
  4. Stir in the grated mozzarella until melted and combined. Remove from heat and set aside.
  5. In another skillet, heat some vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Sauté the onion and garlic until softened, about 3-4 minutes.
  6. Add the minced meat to the skillet. Season with salt, nutmeg, and meat seasoning. Cook, breaking up the meat, until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
  7. Stir in the tomato sauce and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  8. Combine the cooked pasta with the cheese sauce and meat mixture, stirring until well combined.
  9. Serve hot and enjoy a taste of Grandma’s kitchen in just 10 minutes!
